Are you enthusiastic about technology - but is dealing with people just as important to you? And you don't want to miss out on the business side of things? Then we have something for you:
Information on enrolmentThanks to its industrial engineering profile, the Technical Management (TEM) degree programme prepares students specifically for a career at the interface between technology and business. The following qualifications are taught in this particularly practice-orientated degree programme:
The internship semester and the Practical Engineering Project (PREP) provide intensive practical relevance. During PREP, students work in a team on a task from the field of product development or industrial engineering and at the same time expand their project management skills. In the last two semesters, students can choose lectures from an extensive catalogue of subjects and thus deepen their knowledge of the subject according to their individual wishes.
In order to optimally prepare students for the challenges of a globalised world, selected specialist courses are offered in English. We also support students in spending six months abroad. This can take the form of a study semester, the practical phase or the final thesis.

The Bachelor's degree programme in Technical Management (B. Eng.) qualifies graduates to work at the interface between technology, business administration and management in manufacturing companies.
Students acquire sound technical skills in the areas of production technology and Industry 4.0 as well as business management knowledge for the efficient design of production processes. As future managers, they are prepared to drive forward technical innovations, optimise processes and lead teams in a goal-oriented manner.
Your career opportunities are extremely diverse. Graduates are ideally qualified for demanding tasks in quality management, work preparation and factory planning, the design of production logistics processes, production controlling and technical purchasing. They can also go on to complete a corresponding Master's programme, e.g. the Master's in Technical Management at Heilbronn University.
In the foundation course, students acquire basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
A compulsory German language course is also part of the programme.
Master's programme: The completion of your bachelor's degree allows you to start your career or, alternatively, to continue your studies in one of our master programmes.
The Technical Management programme has no admission restrictions, meaning you can enroll directly for a place on the programme. You can find all the information you need about the direct enrollment process at HHN on the website “Application for Bachelor's programmes.”

"With the new Bachelor's degree course in Technical Management, we have created a qualification profile that prepares students in a holistic manner for the design and optimisation of all processes in technically oriented companies."

"Smaller projects can be realised independently in various events: Developing a STEM escape room, products for the maker scene, developing and building a mini-drone, etc. You can work together with other students in groups or with committed pupils, e.g. from the “MINT-EC“ (network for STEM schools) or from our educational partner schools."

"The practical relevance of the degree programme is very important to us: for example, by teaching the content using many examples, by trying it out yourself in laboratories and projects and by using the latest technology."
