Course Content

The degree programme in Financial Management, Accounting & Taxation is essentially based on the knowledge of classical business administration and also imparts in-depth knowledge in the fields of accounting, auditing, controlling, finance and taxation.

Students on this degree programme will:

  • Become acquainted with the mechanisms, actors and instruments of the financial markets
  • Learn how to create, present and analyse annual and consolidate financial statements
  • Learn how to record and optimise the tax situation of a company
  • and to analyse and assess the efficiency, profitability and liquidity of a company.


The degree programme is rounded off by a practical semester comprising first-class guest lectures, networking events and a potential semester abroad.

The study programme is modular. A module can comprise one or more teaching events that are grouped thematically.

In the first two academic semesters you will be taught sound basic business skills which are divided into the following modules:
