After my bachelor and one year working in a technical position, I enrolled in the SEM programme which I found particularly suitable for my career objectives. Through the programme I was able to develop not only technical and beginner research skills, but also management and intercultural competences. I enjoyed learning from a variety of skilled professors and industry experts; and interacting with a diverse group of students from all around the world.

Please note! Only newly enrolled international students not from EU/EEA countries have to pay tuition fees of EUR 1,500 per semester.

The global world is heavily characterised by steadily expanding worldwide net- works and at the same time, by a global shortage of IT experts. As a result, there is a large and growing demand for software engineers and the job prospects for masters graduates in this field are highly promising.
Prospective employers of our graduates are internationally operating companies that require a broad range of skills as well as specific expertise in software development. Alternatively, there are job openings in small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition, our graduates also will be well equipped to set up their own business.
Course of study
The course of study depends on your individual choice of courses and study profile. Here you will find the concept of full-time study with different opportunities:
M1 Profile (24 ECTS):
At least one profile has to be chosen.
M2 Advanced Computer Science (24 ECTS):
Free elective catalog of the IT faculty. Electives can be assigned to several profiles.
M3 Portfolio Optimization (12 ECTS)
Alignment of the level of knowledge. M3 is mandatory.

please apply for your APS certificate in time! This must be presented in the original at the latest at the time of enrollment.
Applicants from India:
due to the high volume of applications at the Academic Review Board in New Delhi, there are long waiting times for the processing of applications.
In order to ensure that you have the recognition certificates required for the admission procedures at the universities in good time, the Studienkolleg Konstanz has decided to issue them even without presenting the APS certificate.
