Forum HAW Promotion

In September 2022, the Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) in Baden-Württemberg obtained the right to award doctoral degrees.
Together with our early-career researchers, professors, and the Heilbronn-Franconia region, we want to exchange ideas about the new and continuing cooperative pathway for training the next generation of researchers in Baden-Württemberg, and support doctoral students and those interested in pursuing a doctorate in getting started.
The Forum HAW Promotion 2026 offers you diverse formats for building networks and exchanging information on topics related to academic careers and doctoral opportunities at HHN.
Please note: All sessions will be conducted in German, except for "Doing a PhD in Germany" which will be held in English.
