According to the Study and Examination Regulations (SPO), you may only take exams for which you are registered. Registration and deregistration for exams must be done within the deadlines set by the university (see the semester schedule) at: https://hhn.hispro.de

Deregistration is possible up to a maximum of four days before your individual exam date.

If you have missed the exam registration deadline, you may still register late for the exam by paying a fee until the start of the deregistration period.
You can obtain the form from the administration office or here.

In principle, two leave of absence semesters are permitted during your studies. The leave of absence should be applied for at the time of re-registration, but no later than the start of the semester. Leave cannot be granted without sufficient justification and appropriate supporting documents.

These can be accessed via the HIS Online-Portal.

The Study and Examination Regulations (SPO) are statutes of the university, adopted by the Senate. All parties involved (faculty, administration, and students) are bound by the provisions set forth in the SPO. Deviations from the SPO regulations are generally unlawful and therefore not permitted.

The SPO of Hochschule Heilbronn is divided into a general part and a specific part. The general part contains provisions that apply bindingly across all degree programmes.

These apply to all programmes and cover central issues such as:

  • Structure of the studies

  • Loss of admission to studies, deadlines

  • Permissible grading scale

  • Possibilities for retaking exams, hardship applications, etc.

Details can be found at: https://www.hs-heilbronn.de/en/mv-examination-committee
