The Examination Committee for Management and Sales is responsible for the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offered by the Faculty of Management and Sales at the Schwäbisch Hall campus.
The committee ensures that the respective regulations of the study and examination guidelines are adhered to and performs the duties assigned within them.

Here you will find the digital procedure for submitting applications related to:
• Registration for the Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis
• Extension of the submission deadline

Upon request, the processing time for the Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis can be extended by a maximum of two months. The Examination Committee is responsible for approving such requests. Please note the internal processing time of 10 days. The application must be approved by the original submission deadline.

Students with permanent impairments who require ongoing compensation for disadvantages throughout their studies must submit an application to the Examination Committee at least four weeks before the start of the examination period. This does not apply to acute and unforeseeable
impairments.
A new application must be submitted each semester, and a current medical certificate must be
included.

If you have not completed your basic studies within four semesters or your main studies within ten semesters, you will receive a letter from the Examination Office regarding the deadline overrun. A request for a deadline extension can only be submitted after you have received this letter — please observe the deadlines specified in the letter. You do not need to take any action if you have not received such a notification. Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
How to Submit a Request for Deadline Extension:
Write a letter addressed to the Examination Committee explaining why the delay in completing your studies is beyond your control. Please attach any relevant supporting documents, such as medical certificates or proof of exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, bereavement).

This application is intended only for students who have been admitted to a master’s program with specific conditions. The application must be submitted in accordance with § 3a of the Study and Examination Regulations for Master’s Programs – “General Section.”
Deadline:
The application must be submitted immediately after admission to the program and no later than the end of the first week of lectures.
