Responsibilities of the Faculty Council
- The Faculty Council advises on all matters of fundamental importance to the faculty.
- Passing resolutions on appointment proposals from the faculty’s appointment committees.
Passing resolutions on structural and development plans, the establishment, amendment and abolition of faculty bodies, and the faculty’s study and examination regulations,
- participating in the coordination and evaluation of teaching and research,
- the further development of existing and the design of new fields of study and degree programmes.

Responsibilities of the Academic Committee
Unless otherwise specified in the relevant examination regulations, the responsibilities of a programme committee include drawing up proposals for the further development of the degree programme and, where necessary, coordinating teaching content with other departments and faculties.
Election
The members of a study committee are elected by the Faculty Council on the recommendation of the Chair of the Faculty Council.
