Summary: The first complete Nipah virus model is finished. It relies on the common PROSIT methodology as all health economic models.

Methodology: Markov model (Markov process), Microsimulation

Health Economic Perspective: flexible for all health care systems adaptable

Time Horizon: 120 cycles; currently defined as weekly time steps

Patient Cohort: flexible

Costs: flexible

Other specifications: the model supports QALYS, and discounting of both costs and effects. The half-cycle correction is implemented as within-cycle correction.
