On June 26–27, 2025, the fifth transnational project meeting of the LOGMASTER initiative took place in Bucharest, Romania. Hosted by the University of Craiova, the meeting brought together academic and industry partners from eight European countries – including Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences – to evaluate progress, align results, and plan the final steps before the project concludes in September 2025.

The LOGMASTER project (Project No. 2022-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000088037), titled “Logistics Master Degree to Set Specialists for Supply Chain Management and Logistics”, aims to develop a cutting-edge Master’s program (EQF Level 7) tailored to the evolving needs of logistics and supply chain management.

During the meeting, the consortium presented several key outcomes:

  • A guideline for designing modern, management-level curricula

  • Defined academic standards and requirements for logistics Master’s programs

  • A proposed curriculum for a new international Master’s degree

  • Six comprehensive teaching modules, covering warehousing, transportation, supply chain design and planning, customer service, and sourcing

  • Two virtual reality case studies showcasing the use of digital tools in logistics education

Beyond reviewing deliverables, partners also discussed the final implementation phase, reaffirming their shared goal of fostering innovation in logistics education across Europe.

Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences is proud to contribute to this forward-thinking initiative that strengthens academic collaboration and shapes the future of logistics training.
