Programme Overview

B.A. International Business combines a solid business foundation with practical skills, digital know-how, and international awareness.  

The programme includes language and cultural studies, giving you a deeper understanding of different world regions — a real advantage in multinational companies or globally oriented roles. 

Its structure balances academic knowledge, practical experience, and international exposure. Through internships and project-based learning, you apply what you learn in real organisations. A study abroad semester at one of our partner universities is an integral part of the programme, further enhancing your analytical skills, intercultural competence, and global perspective.

Programme Focus: Our Study Tracks

The B.A. International Business offers two specialised tracks, each with its own linguistic and academic focus:

1. German Track
This track is ideal for students who are new to Germany or recently arrived and want to boost their career prospects in the German job market. It features intensive German language training and in-depth regional studies, giving you a solid understanding of Germany’s business environment and cultural context.

2. International Track
Designed for students with advanced German skills (CEFR B2 or native level), this track has a strong international focus. Students choose one regional profile to specialise in:

  • Arabic Language & Cultural and Economic Area Studies: Orient

  • French Language & Cultural and Economic Area Studies: Francophone World

  • Russian Language & Cultural and Economic Area Studies: Eastern Europe

  • Spanish Language & Cultural and Economic Area Studies: Spanish-speaking Countries
