Course contents

The program is divided into a two-semester basic study period and a five-semester main study period. This includes an optional semester abroad and an internship semester, whereby the internship semester can also be completed abroad. During this time, students work in a tourism company and get to know the daily business routine.The tourism degree program offers a varied mix of attendance phases, self-study periods and practical experience in the context of professional excursions or guest lectures in companies in the tourism industry.

Students experience a basic business education and deal intensively with the business challenges of the tourism industry. The program offers a choice of five foreign languages from English, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic. Alternatively, business specializations such as International Financial & Management Accounting, International Finance, International Human Resource Management, International Marketing or International Management can be chosen. Finally, in the last semester of the program, students write their Bachelor's thesis.
