International Projects
Our international projects aim at accompanying international prospective and current students through their whole academic pathway and their preparation for their labour market entry. Thus, we see ourselves in a promising position to support international students in their respective search efforts in the best way possible before, at the beginning and during their studies.
Below you will find an overview of all projects in the central areas and faculties of Heilbronn University that are funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

HAW International GROWTH
HHN will host their first International Staff Weeks from 1 to 6 November 2026:
“Exchange. Learn. Grow. - in Europe’s Leading Capital for AI”
The HHN International Staff Weeks 2026 mark the official launch of the project “HAW International GROWTH” (Growing International Reach and Creating Opportunities to Work Together on Holistic Approaches to Internationalization). GROWTH is a project funded by the DAAD programme HAW International (2026–2028) that strengthens international collaboration among universities, companies, students, and staff members. Together with partner universities in Latvia, Romania, Egypt, Vietnam, and Canada, a global network for knowledge exchange and innovation is being established.
At the heart of the project is the Connected Workplace, which promotes international networking through digital learning and collaboration formats. The project officially begins with the first International Staff Weeks in 2026 and will continue with the International Concept Conference in 2027 and the International Project Week in 2028. These events will bring together participants from around the world to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and actively shape the future of international higher education.
