The Ethics Committee
The committee's task is to provide scientists with help and advice on the ethical aspects of their research by issuing an ethics vote at their request. The committee works on the basis of the current scientific standards that apply to the respective disciplines. The subject of the review for issuing the ethics vote can be measures and their consequences for humans as well as animals and plants. This vote is now mandatory for many applications for third-party funding in this area. In addition, members of Heilbronn University who are involved in such research projects can seek advice from the Ethics Committee.
