Every May...
... we shine a spotlight on the diversity of our campus life. Through our action days, we address issues that shape the experience of studying and working at HHN, and we advocate for a cosmopolitan and democratic university culture.
Excellent education, research, and scholarship require diverse perspectives! And diverse perspectives can only emerge if we persistently advocate for educational equity and equal opportunities for all people. That’s why we’ve once again celebrated this year under the motto of the Diversity Charter, because: “When diversity wins, we all win.” This is all the more important given the challenging political situation. Social background, a disability, an immigrant background, or gender are still—and increasingly so—reasons why people are marginalized and demeaned. Even people who stand up against discrimination and hostility toward others and advocate for more democracy and solidarity must expect resistance and are even put to the test by politicians.

May 12-20: Diversity Days at Hochschule Heilbronn
Diversity Days at HHN are meant to be fun, to spark reflection, and above all to show that diversity affects us all! That’s why we once again visited all of the university’s campuses. The event kicked off on May 12 at the Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall campuses, followed by two more event days at the Bildungscampus and TechCampus on May 19 and 20.
