Believe freely. Respect deeply. For us, this means creating space for different beliefs, for dialogue, and for personal encounters. At HHN, members of different religions work together to foster mindful, respectful coexistence. They provide interdenominational support in times of personal crisis and create an environment in which HHN members can use their personal faith as a source of strength for their studies and work.

Our counseling services—regardless of religion and confidential

The university counseling service offers advice and support

  • on questions relating to study organization, stress management, and exam anxiety
  • in difficult situations such as financial emergencies, family problems, etc.
  • in times of worry and grief


We take the time to listen to you. Every conversation with us is confidential. We will not tell anyone that you visited us or what you discussed with us. Unless you give us permission to do so. Whether it's a one-time conversation or long-term support: you decide what is best for you! And if we don't know what to do, we know of other sources of support that we can refer you to.

Rooms of Silence and Encounter

The rooms are open for personal prayers, short breaks or a little meditation. They are available to all religions and denominations and can also be used by people who do not belong to any religious community.

The rooms are available during opening hours. Please be respectful and considerate of others!

Centering Prayer

every Thursday., 1:15–1:45 p.m., T.1.32

As an open event of the university chaplaincy, an interfaith prayer is held every week in the room of silence on Bildungscampus.
