Planning and delivering an Arts Festival on the Künzelsau campus. The project aimed to give students hands-on experience working in an international and interdisciplinary team while exploring and applying various creative approaches to marketing, project management, and visitor journey design.

Both students and lecturers benefited from the combination of digital formats and face-to-face teaching.

The exchange of experiences regarding digital learning formats and the introduction of new tools were particularly valuable, as there were still significant gaps in this area. The Finnish colleagues already had extensive experience with digital collaboration and teaching methods, allowing the other participating lecturers to benefit greatly from this knowledge exchange.

The blended learning approach also enabled students to collaborate and learn effectively in international teams. In addition, the format provided considerable flexibility, allowing students to schedule and complete group work at times that suited them best.

At the same time, the flexible structure required a high level of self-discipline, responsibility, and teamwork skills, which proved challenging for some participants. Differences in working styles and approaches became apparent within the international teams, requiring both students and lecturers to adapt in order to ensure smooth and productive collaboration.

Students were able to strengthen their project management skills in an intercultural setting, expand their international networks, and gain firsthand experience of cultural diversity.

For many participants, the introduction of creative concepts and collaboration with artists represented entirely new learning experiences. Furthermore, the BIP participants were exposed to teaching and learning approaches from different perspectives, enabling them to discover innovative methods and practices that they may apply in their future academic or professional activities.
