Summary: The first complete PROSIT pre-diabetes model is finished. It relies on the common PROSIT methodology as all diabetes models.
Methodology: Markov model (Markov process), Microsimulation
Health Economic Perspective: flexible, default perspective is the German statutory health care system
Time Horizon: 120 cycles; currently defined as annual time steps
Patient Cohort: flexible, default input based on a cohort of Neumann et al. (2013)
Costs: flexible, default input based on data from Kähm et al. (2018)
Other specifications: the model supports QALYS, and discounting of both costs and effects. The half-cycle correction is implemented as within-cycle correction.
