Heilbronn University is an approved test centre for the Oxford Test of English (OTE).

The OTE is a general English proficiency test from Oxford University Press that is increasingly finding acceptance at universities and other institutions around the world. It is a computer adaptive test for general English that covers the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. It takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The OTE assesses your current language level in General English. You may need this certificate for internships or job applications as well as when studying abroad. Students of Heilbronn University who apply for a semester abroad at our partner universities usually need a DAAD-Certificate to prove their knowledge of English. The results from the OTE can be used to issue this certificate.

The OTE takes places at Heilbronn University, Bildungscampus, Building N, 1st floor.
