Specialist recommendation for the Automotive Software specialization

Description:
In the specialization combination "Automotive Software", the fundamentals acquired in the degree program are expanded in the direction of the design of software-defined systems. The specialization covers various levels of architecture, from hardware design and the construction of real-time operating systems on microcomputers (embedded systems) to ISO/OSI layer 2-4 communication protocols and architectures (distributed systems), image processing and human-computer interaction (where a model-based user interface is designed). The subject of model-based software development deals with the design of application software for automotive control units based on Matlab/Simulink and C++ models. In the electronic systems project laboratory, students design a control unit with hardware and software that is tested in one of our laboratory vehicles or contribute in some other way to the software-heavy development of vehicle functions. The safety systems subject deals with software safety in and around the vehicle.
