Research Development and Institutional Collaborations

The Research Development and Institutional Collaborations team coordinates activities within the Research and Graduate Center (FuGZ) and provides strategic impulses for university development. In light of increasing institutional project funding as well as diverse external requirements and competitions, we optimally leverage and make visible the university's strengths.

Impulses for University and Research Development

We are a small team that works agilely, with methodological diversity and high intensity, with professional standards and a realistic view of what is achievable. We coordinate systematically with other units of the university.

We understand projects as impulses for innovative ideas that open up new territory for various areas of the university. The utilization of project results aims to solidify successfully evaluated impulses as permanent tasks or structures wherever possible.

Our Area of Responsibility

The team works on strategically important topics in the form of initiatives that may affect multiple work areas of the university, including the further development of research organization and structure, the improvement of infrastructures and resources, as well as contributions to the university's structural and development planning.

Our area of responsibility encompasses the development of scenarios, concepts, and measures as well as the initiation and support in the preparation of institutional applications. This can occur in the form of new partnerships, applications in research programs at federal, state, or EU level, or as structure-building measures.
