Privacy settings
We use tracking technologies (such as cookies and pixels) on our website that enable us to evaluate the behaviour of website visitors and measure our reach. We have embedded content from third parties based in the USA on our websites. These third parties do not offer an adequate level of data protection. This means that data subjects are at increased risk, as they may not be entitled to any legal remedies. Service providers used may process data for their own purposes and merge it with other data.
Details on the purposes of data processing are provided in the Privacy Policy.
By clicking on the ‘Agree’ button or by selecting individual cookies or services in the settings, you give us your consent to process your data for the respective purposes. Consent is voluntary, not required for using the website and can be withdrawn at any time via the privacy settings. If you select 'Reject' on the banner, only the cookies necessary for the website to operate smoothly and enable page navigation will be set.

Required cookies
These cookies (small text files) are required for the website to function properly and for you to be able to navigate the pages correctly. They also allow user settings to be saved.
Embedded third-party content
We have integrated functions and elements obtained from third-party providers onto our website. These are videos from Youtube and Vimeo.
If you access (e.g. click, play, etc.) this third-party content, information and data is collected and linked to your end device in the form of cookies or other technologies and transmitted to the server of the third-party provider used. The third-party provider receives data on how you use and interact with the website.

Online marketing
As part of our social media channels, we use targeting methods to track certain user activities (interactions) and to ensure that our ads are delivered to specific target groups. We use the methods and technologies of various social media providers. A common technology is the so-called pixel (a snippet of a JavaScript code).
This pixel is included in the source code of our website. It ensures that your navigation is recorded. When you interact with our website or our ads on social media, pixels record your user data and your actions (e.g. clicks on ads, bounces on websites) and they save which pages and subpages you have accessed.

Web analysis and optimisation
We use the web analysis service of Matomo to evaluate visitor traffic to our website. The information collected is used to determine whether the website needs to be optimised or adapted. We host the Matomo solution in-house. This means that no data is transmitted to the provider.
