ISAPS Symposium
The ISAPS Symposium is a biennial workshop that brings together the scientific and industrial experts on the subjects of “Flow and transport in porous media - Highlights of Research and Applications”. It spans the spectrum from basic issues to industrial and clinical applications. We are looking forward to a mixture of first-class keynote talks and interesting specialist lectures.
The 4th ISAPS symposium will take place in summer 2027, at the TechCampus of Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.

The 3rd ISAPS symposium 2025 has taken place on July, 8th, 2025 at TechCampus of Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
Sessions were focused on:
- Two-phase flow and transport
- Particle detection and manipulation
- Challenge: energy efficiency
The 2nd ISAPS-Symposium 2023 took place on July, 5th, 2023 at Sontheim Campus of Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and brought together the scientific and industrial specialists on the topic "Flow and Transport in Porous Media - Highlights from Research and Application" zusammen.
Sessions focused on:
- Filtration
- Energy generation
- Various applications: production / noise reduction/ lubrication
The 1st ISAPS symposium took place on July, 7th, 2021 at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in hybrid mode under strict corona pandemic conditions.
