German as a Foreign Language
We offer the following German courses to exchange students from our partner universities abroad and international full-time students as part of the General Study program in Heilbronn in the Wintersemester 26/27.

The levels of German as a foreign language courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
In the Guidelines for German as a Foreign Language the guidelines are set out that students have to follow:

General Information concerning course registrations:
Please participate in the orientation days for informations about how to register for German courses
Orientation for international degree-seeking students
Attendance in all German courses is compulsory.
Exchange students who study in Heilbronn for more than one semester and international full-time students are automatically promoted to the next higher course in the following semester if they pass the exam. If they wish to skip a course level, they have to take the placement test again.
Participation in more than one German course during a semester is possible in individual cases and after consultation with all participating lecturers.
