The Deutschlandstipendium is a unique opportunity for financial support during your your time at university.

It is awarded regardless of income and has no effect on your BAföG.

Half of the funding is provided by generous private sponsors, including companies, private individuals, foundations and associations, and the other half by federal funds. As a scholarship holder, you will receive a monthly grant of 300 euros.

Would you like to find out how to apply? You can find all the relevant information on this website.

· social commitment

· special family or

· personal circumstances.

For more details, see "Application - What are the requirements?”.

The monthly grant amounts to 300 euros. Depending on the period of approval, the funding period also varies. The grant is awarded either:

· in the respective winter semester (01.09.) and is then generally granted for one year (prerequisite for this is to study within the standard period of study including corona semesters).

· or in the following summer semester (01.03.): Students who are selected for a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship from the summer semester onwards initially receive an award for one semester and can apply for extension up to a certain deadline stated in the award notification.
