Deutschlandstipendium
The Deutschlandstipendium is a unique opportunity to receive financial support during your studies.
It is awarded regardless of income and does not affect your BAföG.
Half of the funding comes from generous private donors, including companies, individuals, foundations, and associations, and the other half from federal funds.

Amount
300 € a month
Duration
6 or 12 months; the scholarship may be renewed annually until the end of the standard period of study.
Who
All full-time bachelor’s and master’s students who are high-achieving and dedicated.
Personal circumstances, such as migration background, first-generation student status, etc., are also taken into account.
When
May 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026
Application documents:
- Applications must be submitted exclusively online in German or English
- Letter of motivation (1–2 pages)
- CV
- High school diploma or equivalent (for foreign transcripts, a translation that can be converted to the German system and a conversion to the German grading scale).
- Additional certificates (e.g., training certificates, transcripts)
- Supporting documents (migration background, first-generation student, illnesses, social commitment, involvement in a family business, part-time work during studies, etc.)

Ceremonial presentation of certificates
In the summer term 2026, we are able to support 115 talented and high-achieving students at Heilbronn University as part of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship programme. The monthly grant is 300 euros and is financed equally by the federal government and private sponsors.
