Germany - Rwanda
Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (Heilbronn) - University of Rwanda (Kigali)
The faculties of Mechanics and Electronics (T1) and Business and Transport Management (WV) of Heilbronn University are working on an interdisciplinary COIL project. The two faculties have been working on joint study tours for several years and are now expanding the previous concept to include semester-long, collaborative courses.
Virtual courses were designed in 2021 with the University of Rwanda and will be carried out virtually at both universities in 2022, involving media of digital communication and collaboration. The cooperation of the students takes place virtually during the seminar and ends later with a face-to-face phase in Rwanda.
15 Master's students from the HHN and 15 students from the University of Rwanda are to take part in the joint course. The University of Rwanda is a partner that shows great interest in digital collaboration. As part of the increased academic cooperation between Germany and Africa, the aim is to expand the previous cooperation.
