The AI.Corelab (AI and Cognitive Systems Research Laboratory) conducts research into artificial intelligence and machine learning. Our aim is to develop innovative methods that are not only theoretically sound but also have practical applications. We combine state-of-the-art algorithms with real-world test environments to bridge the gap between research and industrial implementation.
The laboratory offers a unique infrastructure for experiments in the fields of computer vision, reinforcement learning, natural language processing and edge AI. From intelligent cobots that sort objects using vision-language models, to AI-based screw sorters utilising unsupervised clustering, and model vehicles for autonomous driving – our platforms enable practical research in a safe environment.

The AI.Corelab is located in the G-Building in room G121
