Now Open: two research students (master level) in health care management, health economics and/or disease modelling.
Master Thesis or Student Research Project
Now Open: based on a large data set of medical prescriptions and MVZ electronic health data, we plan to repeat and validate the landmark study of Willert et al. (PCIMD: 23132154) and use prescription data for estimating the diabetes prevalance. We are seeking for two talented students interested in big data management and/or machine learning algorithms.
Time: summer semester 2024. Earliest start: February 2024. Payment: yes.
Bachelor Thesis
Now Open: eveloping of a data model concept for citizens on optimising access to medical infrastructure in the region Heilbronn-Frankonia based on previous student project work presented at the GMDS 2023 congress in Heilbronn.
Master Thesis
Now Open: Health economic modeling of the treatment of diabetes related nephropathy. Model development in Treeage Healthcare Pro (www.treeage.com) and validation using the PROSIT nephropathy model (www.prosit.de, only available on the university's intranet).
