Introduction programme and German as foreign language

Introduction programme

Before lectures start, we offer a free introduction programme. (duration: 8 days for exchange students with a passport from a non-EU country or 6 days for exchange students with a passport or ID from a European country.

During the programme, you have the opportunity to become familiar with all the administrative and organizational tasks you will need to take care of (registration at your city of residence, Immigration Department, opening a bank account, D-ticket, enrolment, health insurance). The International Office and some tutors will support you.


Furthermore your study schedule will be organized. You will get to know Heilbronn and can take part in an excursion.


German as a foreign language

At the beginning of each winter semester we offer a 3-week German intensive course that besides German lessons (50 teaching units and 18 repetition units) also includes an introduction and leisure programme.
