Incoming Exchange Students

Welcome to  the Faculty of Management and Sales!

The Faculty of Management and Sales is one of seven faculties of Heilbronn University and is located at the Schwäbisch Hall campus.

The Schwäbisch Hall campus has around 1,000 students that study subjects of business administration. You will find state-of-the art study conditions in a familiar atmosphere. Small groups furthermore allow you to get in touch easily with your fellow students. You can meet them in the cafeteria, in the library or on our beautiful roof-deck! Of course sport events and student partys are regularly organised.

We have an English course offer for exchange students where you can choose between a range of undergraduate and graduate courses from different study programmes.

Buddy Programme                                                                                                                                          

We try to match all of our incoming students with a student from our  faculty to help you ease your way in to life at campus Schwäbisch Hall.

If you wish to take part in the buddy programm, simply fill in this application form and send it to mv-international@hs-heilbronn.de by:

  • 10th of June (for the winter semester)
  • February 8th (for the spring semester)

Accomodation                                                                                                                                                    

Schwäbisch Hall's youth hostel - only 2 minutes walking distance from campus - is a suitable place to stay when it is just a question of having a roof over your head for a short while. If you are looking for a hotel, there are many options available as well.

Campus Schwäbisch Hall does not have its own student residences, but we will assist you with your search for accomodation.

There are several options for you to find a suitable room - these are listed below.

The number of rooms is limited and open to all students from Campus SHA,  not only incoming exchange students. 
So, arrange your accomodation as early as possible.

This student residence is operated by the city of Schwäbisch Hall. 

There are three houses:

  • Rental period is always 6 months. (No option to cancel earlier): 
    • Winter semester: September 1st - End of February,
    • Spring semester: March 1st - End of August.

  • Bedding and mattress are not (!) included and must be bought by you. Please, get in touch with your buddy. They will assist you on your arrival.
  • Most of the rooms that are available are located in the student residence “Wilhelm-Meister-Weg 6” in the city center of Schwäbisch Hall.
  • Mostly you have a room and share the bathroom with one other person and you have a common kitchen.

English language is fine. She will arrange all the details (rental contract, hand over of the key, Confirmation of residence (form needed for your registration at the town hall) etc.).


This student residence is operated by the renowned Goethe-Institut Schwäbisch Hall (dormitory “Wilhelm-Meister-Weg 2-14").
  • Their rooms are fully furnished
  • Right in the city center
  • Reduced rate for Campus Hall exchange students.
