Information for Incomings

Every year, the Department of Mechanics and Electronis welcomes engineering students from all over the world. Both the professional and intercultural exchange are most valuable for our students and our academic staff. Together, we seek to establish a learning environment that complements our strengths: interdisciplinarity, on-site learning and teaching as well as strong industry links.

The Department of Mechanis and Electronics offers Bachelor and Master programmes in the following fields:

  • Automotive Systems Engineering
  • Electrical Systems Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics and Robotics

As an exchange student, you can select courses throughout the whole faculty. Furthermore, lectures from other faculties can be chosen upon agreement. The language of teaching is German. However, a varying range of courses is offered in English, amounting to 30 ECTS per semester.

All incomings students at the faculty of mechanics and electronics have the opportunity to meet regularly with a student buddy. A student buddy is an experienced student who will be happy to provide orientation about the university and the city.
