The Gustav Berger Foundation regularly awards scholarships to students of all disciplines who have completed their undergraduate studies or passed their bachelor's preliminary examination / are at the beginning of their master's studies.
Financial need and social engagement are additional important criteria.

Please submit your application as a single PDF file to the scholarships office at Heilbronn University (stipendienstelle@hs-heilbronn.de) by November 15, 2026, at the latest.
Application documents:
- Application Agreement (completed and signed)
- Reference letter from a professor at HHN
- 1–2 page covering letter including a description of your financial need
- Curriculum vitae
- Current transcript of records and/or bachelor's certificate
- Evidence of eligibility criteria:
- Financial need (typically demonstrated by tax records, BAföG notices, bank statements, or similar documents)
- Social engagement

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a personal selection interview at the Bildungscampus by the foundation board on January 18, 2027 at the Bildungscampus. Please keep this date free in your calendar.
