The Gustav Berger Foundation regularly awards scholarships to students of all disciplines who have completed their undergraduate studies or passed their bachelor's preliminary examination / are at the beginning of their master's studies

Financial need and social engagement are additional important criteria.

Amount

€100 – 300 per month

The amount is determined individually based on the scholarship holder's personal circumstances and is agreed upon during a selection interview.

Duration

Up to 2 years 

Scholarship payments are suspended during a thesis or internship funded by a third party.

Who

Students of all disciplines who have completed their undergraduate studies or  passed their bachelor's preliminary examination / are at the beginning of their master's studies. 

Students with financial need and a record of social engagement.

Please submit your application as a single PDF file to the scholarships office at Heilbronn University (stipendienstelle@hs-heilbronn.de).

Application documents:

  • Reference letter from a professor at HHN
  • 1–2 page covering letter including a description of your financial need
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Current transcript of records and/or bachelor's certificate
  • Evidence of eligibility criteria:
    • Financial need (typically demonstrated by tax records, BAföG notices, bank statements, or similar documents)
    • Social engagement
