You must be registered to register for the thesis. If no further examinations are open, you can also write them in de-registered status. Please note, however, that in this case you no longer have student status (university library, health insurance, ...)
According to Section 12 of the State University Fees Act (LHGebG), the university charges an administrative fee of € 70.00 for each semester. This fee is due for enrollment or re-registration for payment.
If you renounce your place on the course or you de-register within one month of the beginning of the lecture period, the administrative fee can be reimbursed upon request.
According to § 2 of the fee regulations of the Heidelberg student union, the student union fee is € 59.00.
It consists of € 44.00 for internal work by the Studierendenwerk plus € 15.00 for external services (student ticket). The student union fee is due when you enroll or re-register for payment.
If the student union fee is paid without enrollment or de-registration before or within two weeks of the start of the semester, the student union fee can be reimbursed. You must apply for reimbursement directly to the Heidelberg student union. The ASta of Heilbronn University has also set a fee of € 25.00 to fulfill its tasks. This fee is due for enrollment or re-registration.
If you waive your place at the university or if you are de-registered within one month of the beginning of the lecture period, the fee for the ASta fee can be reimbursed upon request.
