Rules for learning space use

Our common responsibility

Due to the current Corona pandemic, we see it is our responsibility to ensure the well-being and health of all users. Nevertheless, we would like to maintain our services as unrestricted as possible. In order to find the right balance between both responsibilities, we have to impose strict rules on the use of the learning space until further notice.

Compliance with these rules must therefore be regularly monitored by both our staff and security personnel. The rules are also listed separately at each learning space.

The currently valid rules
  • Learning spaces may only be used with prior reservation.

  • Only the specific learning space that has been booked in advance may be used.

  • A properly fitted medical mouth & nose covering or an FFP2 mask must be worn at all times, covering both the mouth and the nose. This also applies to group work areas.

  • Upon request, users must show their study space reservation confirmation, student ID (or identity card in the case of external users), and 3G(+) credentials.

  • Chairs and tables may not be moved.

  • Each workstation may only be assigned once per day.

  • Eating and drinking (with the exception of water) is prohibited.

  • A minimum distance of 1.5m must be maintained at all times.

  • Seating that cannot be reserved must not be used.

  • Prolonged stay without a reserved study space is not permitted.

Consequences of violations

A violation of the rules will be punished with an immediate ban from the house for the day. In the case of a ban, personal data can be recorded by our staff or the security service.

Those who break the rules more than once may face a longer ban or even more serious consequences.
