Update 11.05.: Overview of the rules at HHN

Since the incidence of infections has decreased significantly, the university management has decided on the following adjustment regarding the wearing of FFP2 masks:

On the university premises and in the buildings, the wearing of an FFP2 mask is obligatory if

  • the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be reliably maintained, or
  • more than 25 persons participate in a (teaching) event or meeting.

Otherwise, we strongly recommend wearing an FFP2 mask in enclosed spaces shared with other people.

Regular ventilation and keeping a minimum distance of 1.5 meters remain important as des Infektionsschutzes measures.

For classroom teaching in the summer semester 2022, the following requirements apply to all participants (including lecturers)

  • No symptoms typical of corona

  • On the university premises and in the buildings, the wearing of an FFP2 mask is obligatory if the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be reliably maintained, or more than 25 persons participate in a (teaching) event or meeting.

  • The rooms must be adequately ventilated, ideally continuously.

On the university premises and in the buildings, the wearing of an FFP2 mask is obligatory if

  • the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be reliably maintained, or
  • more than 25 persons participate in a (teaching) event or meeting.

In this cases persons aged 18 and over must wear an FFP2 or comparable mask - for example KN95-/N95-/KF94-/KF95 masks. A medical mask in the sense of a "surgical mask" is no longer permitted.

The exemption from the obligation to wear masks for presenters continues to apply.

No, quarantine is only required for those who have tested positive themselves. If a household member has tested positive or someone has been identified by the competent authority as a close contact person, quarantine is recommended. For more details, see the CoronaVO Segregation and the associated FAQ.

If you are Corona positive, please report first to your local Health Authorities and in the second step, we would be pleased if you contact the university at Corona-Fall@hs-heilbronn.de or 0172/4120085.
