Murray State University is located southwestern part of Kentucy in the city of Murray. Located in the heart of the Jackson Purchase, Murray State University is a nationally recognized public university in the United States that is home to nearly 9,000 students from the United States and approximately 46 countries. Murray is a small city that has a population of approximately 20,000. The university is approximately 24 km from the beautiful Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, which offers hiking, elk and bison viewing, birding, 1850s historic buildings, planetarium, fishing, boating, swimming, and a large wildlife population. The city is approximately 2 hours away from Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee.

Costs: There are no tuition costs for studying at Murray State University. Additional costs that must be considered are accommodations, meals, and cost of living and a fee for the usage of the Facilties such as Sport Center/Health center etc. (+/- 700 Euro)

Student Support: Exchange students will be provided a shuttle service from Nashville International Airport to Murrray State University. Assistance will be provided in checking in to the residential colleges and trips to local stores will be provided to purchase any necessary items after arriving on campus. An online orientation prior to arriving will be given and a follow up in person orientation (when applicable) will be provided upon arrival.
