Manchester Metropolitan University is a university located in the English city of Manchester. In terms of student numbers, it was the ninth largest university in the United Kingdom in 2019/2020 and the second largest in the city of Manchester after the University of Manchester.
Manchester is a large city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. The 18th-century canal system in the Castlefield Conservation Area is a reminder of the city's past as a textile center, and visitors can trace the history in the interactive Museum of Science & Industry.
