The BMBF project EVElyn continues to attract great attention. This time EVElyn is the subject of a 7-minute report in the TV show „taff“ on Pro7.
TV reporter Lisa Braito and her camera team visited the UniTyLab of the Heilbronn University on 1 February to have the EVElyn project explained and shown to her. Braito first dared the self-test in the VR lab, „climbed up“ the diving tower in the virtual world, and one day later actually jumped from the 10m or 5m tower in the indoor pool.
Take a look at the report at the Pro7 mediathek at: https://www.prosieben.de/tv/taff/playlists/playlist-ganze-folgen-taff (February 8, episode 33)
The TV report clearly explains how fear of heights can be treated with exposure therapy in virtual reality and what research work the UniTyLabs team is investing here.
