Studying with disability

Responsible officers and contacts

Your first point of contact for any questions regarding studying with disabilities at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences is the Student Services Office. Ask for Birgit Englert or Melinda Wilhelms.

In addition, each university location has an Officer for Students and Prospective Students with Disabilities, who is happy to help you with any additional questions.

The Officers for Students with Disabilities advise students and prospective students in matters of offsetting possible disadvantages in conditions of study and examination regulations. If required, they help students organize their studies and mediate between students and teaching staff or administration.

They also petition for barrier-free buildings. They generally closely collaborate with other university bodies, e.g. the Social Counselling Services of Student Services, an important point of contact for financing and insurance matters.
