The MA International Business & Intercultural Management (MIBIM) qualifies first-degree graduates for management positions in globally operating organisations. 


The MA International Business & Intercultural Management (MIBIM) is aimed at preparing first-degree graduates for a career in today’s global business environment.

The study programme focuses on international management of companies and organisations and the necessary intercultural competences in this area. As sustainability increasingly influences the competitiveness of companies today, our programme places an emphasis on sustainability issues particularly in regard to economics and leadership.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are accepted both from European and international schooling backgrounds. Applicants need an excellent or good European first degree in Business Studies or in a business-related discipline (210 ECTS credits and a German average grade of 2.5 or better) or an equivalent international qualification as well as a high level of proficiency in English (IELTS or TOEFEL tests are mandatory).

Demonstrable interest in sustainability, intercultural communication and experience in living and working abroad are advantageous.
